netball

Today I had the fun time of playing netball.

Now, I thought netball was another name for basketball but I was incredibly wrong. This is okay though because I ended up having a lot of fun. All the girls knew I was from the states because of the way I shot but I just thought the whole idea of no dribbling, touching, or stealing incredibly girly! I mean, how do you play a sport without any contact. Plus, there is no backboard!

Well luckily Louisa was there to teach me the ropes. She was just like: "keep your hands at your sides at all time" I'm just thinking this is crazy.

I did have fun though and met some really nice people. Theres a social tonight so hopefully thats fun.
